About Us

Colin Sutherland established this busy, predominantly equine, practice in 1994. In June 2005, Urs Schaeli joined him and they continued to build up the business, now also providing the service for large animals.

In October 2008, Urs and Sabine Schaeli bought the practice from Colin, and began working on setting up the small animal side of the business.

By March 2009, the small animal service was up and running from the temporary portacabin at Brandon White House Farm in Powburn, but now the new premises within the same farm are now ready, and the practice is now fully operational, directly opposite that portacabin.

Colin retired from the practice on 30th September 2010. Carolyn Cummins joined the practice as a new colleague on the equine and Farm side.
